Position Title: Enterprise Application Coordinator

MSOE invites applications for an Enterprise Application Coordinator to join our IT Department.
The Enterprise Application Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the university’s core business applications. This position will work closely with the major business stakeholders for the ERP system to create and adapt plans to support and advance these critical systems in a highly efficient manner. This position will work with the Technology Advancement Team Leader to coordinate new administrative software initiatives and will regularly report identified business needs of the university to IT leadership.
Specific duties and responsibilities for this position:
- Support the campus ERP system and its partner products
- Meet with campus application stakeholders to gather information about user requirements and requests
- Analyze and develop progression plans for advancing the use and efficiency of the campus ERP system and its supporting components
- Facilitate and execute project plans to enhance the use of the core campus systems
- Assist in the business analysis of campus needs in order to incorporate new or replacement solutions into the university’s overall workflow
- Work with the System Integration Coordinator to create and maintain any necessary integration points between the core campus systems
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in an IT environment, preferably with experience in the higher education industry. The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent work experience, and a strong background in the following areas:
- Strong ability to work with both end users and the technical support staff of the supported applications
- Ability to coordinate support and development efforts with a variety of groups, both internal and external to campus
- Experience managing a variety of concurrent projects with a diverse set of team members
- Working knowledge of databases, including administration, manipulation, and maintenance
- Previous experience with some or all of the following database platforms: Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
- Experience creating and modifying SQL scripts
- Ability to create both user-level and technical support documentation
- Experience with some or all of the following systems is preferred: Jenzabar EX, Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution, PowerFAIDS, NetPartner, and Ad Astra
- Experience with SharePoint is a plus
