MSOE has a full-time opening for an Academic Records Coordinator to join our Registrar’s Office. We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic individual who will present a pleasant and professional attitude as this person has a great deal of interaction with office visitors - students, faculty and staff. This individual will be responsible for:
• General customer service duties
• Assist with student registration
• Assist with creating and running queries and reports using Infomaker
• Assist with running regular updates to ensure the integrity of the Jenzabar data
• Process transfer credit
• Update the online Transfer Manual
• Process credit for Project Lead the Way credit for high school students
• Process registrations and Educators Professional Development Credits for Project Lead the Way teachers taking summer courses
• Create new student files
• Assign academic advisors to students based on departmental guidelines
• Assist Registrar with Student Advancement Committee process
Candidates must have strong word and data processing skills using Microsoft Office suites software and be familiar with Internet technologies; be student service oriented, detail oriented, and have experience working with an integrated computer database (Jenzabar). Knowledge of FERPA is helpful.
