Scholarships and Financial Aid

I get askedabout the affordability of an education at MSOE all the time. I am not going tosay that I have all the answers but I will provide you whatever information Ihave. While at first glance college tuition may seem high, it's important foryou to understand that most students don't pay the entire cost out of pocket.Financial assistance exists in many forms, including scholarships, grants,student loans and work-study programs. In fact, nearly 99 percent of full-timeMSOE students receive some sort of financial assistance. 

There aremany options are available to students and these can be discussed with the Financial Aid Office. In addition to the help that is provided by the FinancialAid office, there are several scholarship opportunities available to thestudents once they have enrolled at MSOE.

Two suchopportunities that have been available to our SE students are provided bycorporate sponsors who highly value our software engineering graduates.  HKSystems provides a scholarship to cover full tuition and a laptop computer.Plexus Corporation sponsors an annualscholarship for $6,250.  Bothscholarships require the student recipients to meet specific academic and othercriteria.
