As you are making life changing decisions about what college to attend and what program to major in, I would recommend that you spend a lot of time looking at the curriculum of the programs that you are considering. A good curriculum is the basic foundation on which your academic education rests.  We believe that the Software Engineering program at MSOE is strongly grounded in a well balanced, relevant and innovative curriculum which has been developed in close conjunction with industry professionals.
