Preparing for a career instead of a "job"

About two days ago, I had the unique opportunity of meeting some of our alumni. They were here at MSOE because they now want to sponsor a project in the Software Development Laboratory and mentor a group of students just like they were mentored when they were students here at MSOE a few years ago.

During our conversations, one of them remarked as to how different  MSOE is from other institutions. Only after graduating from MSOE, did he realize on how focused MSOE was on "preparing one for a career instead of a job." These alumni who are doing well as MSOE graduates and are "building strong careers" make us proud !

A comment such as this from a graduate is just another testimonial of the unique combination of our practical and relevant curriculum, committed faculty and smart hard-working students.
