Master of Science in Perfusion

Academic Requirements

  1. Applicants must have earned a bachelor of science degree in an appropriate discipline with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).
  2. Required undergraduate course work must include at least one course in human physiology (or anatomy and physiology) and one course in calculus. Recomended course work includes biochemistry, physics, and statistics.
  3. GRE general test scores having percentiles that average 50 percent or better.
  4. Three letters of recommendation, two of which must be from faculty members who can judge the applicant's academic abilities.

Clinical Requirements

  1. Applicant must have observed at least two clinical cases under the direction of a Certified Clinical Perfusionist prior to formal acceptance into the program.
  2. Successful completion of a personal interview with the clinical program director.
