Generally,
the degree courses are involved in:
Design
- includes mechanisms, material selection, and control of machines and systems.
Energy
- includes energy conversion, control and transmission, as well as analysis of
power cycles, engines, and other machines.
Production
- focuses on planning, organization, materials processing, methods and
equipment design, ergonomics, quality management and process optimization.
The
main office for the Mechanical Engineering Department is S-110 in the
Allen-Bradley Hall of Science.
