Please use the following formula to assist you in determining your PLUS Loan eligibility for the academic year. You are allowed to borrow (based on credit worthiness) the maximum amount, however, you must determine the amount you wish to borrow:

 

Student Budget - Student Award Offer = Maximum PLUS Loan

$	Student budget (2009-10 full-time undergraduate budget includes all billable costs as stated on the Student Expense Planner plus estimated miscellaneous educational costs such as transportation, books, supplies, recreation, etc.)
- $	Student award offer total (enter amount from student's mailed award offer)
= $	Your maximum PLUS loan amount
