No. 8 MSOE hockey comes up short against No. 5 Adrian

The No. 8 Raiders were edged by No. 5 Adrian 3-1 Friday at the Kern Center in an MCHA battle. The victory clinched the top seed in the MCHA Tournament for the Bulldogs. MSOE's lone goal was scored by sophomore forward Jordan Keizer who netted his 23rd goal of the season.
After Eric Miller gave Adrian a 1-0 lead early in the second period, Keizer scored at the 12:17 mark of the period to tie the game. Keizer's goal was set up by junior defenseman Ryno Linder and sophomore defenseman Carl Lindblad. The game-winning goal came at the 2:31 mark of the third period from Jordan Watts. The Bulldogs final goal was against an empty net by Kyle Watson.
Junior goaltender Connor Toomey made 22 saves for the Raiders. MSOE outshot Adrian 36-25 on the night. The Raiders (19-4-1, 16-2-1 MCHA) host the Bulldogs again Saturday at 3 p.m. in Milwaukee.
