Meier's all-around effort leads MSOE men's basketball to victory against Wisconsin Lutheran

Five Raiders scored in double figures as MSOE beat Wisconsin Lutheran 86-72 Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee. Senior forward Austin Meier had 19 points, eight steals, seven rebounds and six assists to lead the way for the Raiders. Freshmen Conor Cassidy and Derek Watton each had 15 points.
MSOE went on a 12-1 run in the second half to pull away from the Warriors after the game was tied at 37 at halftime. Also in double digits for the Raiders was senior guard Bennett Deacon with 13 points and freshman guard John Cording who put in 11. MSOE shot 57.7% from the field for the game and 62.1% in the second half.
The Raiders (15-6, 9-4 NAC) face Rockford on the road Wednesday at 7 p.m.
