Diederich places tenth at Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships

Senior Kevin Diederich finished tenth at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in the pentathlon. The event took place at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Diederich recorded 3450 total points in the pentathlon. He placed second in both the 55-meter hurdles (7.90 seconds) and the shot put (12.59 meters). Diederich was seventh in the long jump at 6.44 meters. Kurtis Brondyke of Central College took the title with 3827 total points.
Sophomore Jordan Wener was unable to qualify for the finals of the 55-meter dash as he ran a time of 6.457 seconds in the prelims of the event Friday night. Werner was one one-hundreth of a second away from making it to the finals Saturday night.
