Womens basketball poll announced for the Northern Athletics Conference

Milwaukee, Wis-Head Coach Jessica Ott and the MSOE Raiders basketball team have their work cut out for them as they were projected to finish tenth among the 13 schools that make up the Northern Athletics Conference, released at the conference media day held at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
"We have big shoes to fill in replacing graduate Catherine Chappell," said Coach Ott. We are looking to Dana Guthrie to fill those shoes...". Guthrie (St. Louis, Mo./Hazelwood West), a 5-2 sophomore guard, averaged 12.3 points in her inaugural season as a Raider. MSOE also returns senior starter Emily Jungbluth (,West Allis, Wis./West Allis Central) who averaged 7.3 points last year.
The women's basketball team opens their season on the road at the UW-Stevens Point tournament, facing St. Scholastica. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
