MSOE's Swallow and Woll Named All-MCHA, Soik Named to All-Freshman Team

Milwaukee, Wis. - Senior Lee Swallow (Stanwood, MI/Northville) and junior Jason Woll (Portland, OR/Edmonds Woodway) were named to the MCHA All-Conference team Friday. Freshman Michael Soik (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) was named to the All-Freshman team. Soik was also named to the All-Tournament team for the MCHA Championship. He scored two goals in the Raiders' semifinal game against Adrian College on Saturday and two goals against Lawrence University in the opening round of the tournament.
Swallow scored nine goals and led the Raiders with 31 assists and 40 points during the 2007-08 season. He scored 56 goals and had 102 assists in his career at MSOE. Woll scored four goals and had 13 assists for the year. Soik led the Raiders with 20 goals and had 15 assists.
Senior Ross Chawansky (Waterford, MI/West Bloomfield), senior Matt Fastelin (Hayward, WI/Hayward), Woll, sophomore Reid Crawford (Glendale, WI/Nicolet), and sophomore Paul Haviland (Verona, WI/Middleton) were all named to the MCHA All-Academic team. Chawansky and Fastelin made the All-Academic team for the third time and Woll made it for the second time.
