Fall sports head to playoffs

Men's soccer, women's soccer and women's volleyball, keep their seasons alive as they head into the Northern Athletics Conference playoffs in search of a conference title and an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament.
Men's Soccer
The MSOE men's soccer team (11-4-2, 7-3-1 Northern Athletics Conference) goes into the playoffs as the fourth seed and host fifth seed Edgewood College (9-8-1, 7-3-1 NAC) on Saturday, November 1, held at Uihlein Soccer Park. Game time is set for 1pm. Earlier this season, MSOE defeated Edgewood 2-1 in Madison, getting their first win over the Eagles in over ten years. Senior Forward John Varebrook scored the game winning goal. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Tuesday, November 4 at either Dominican University or Concordia-Wisconsin. Both games are scheduled for a 1pm start. The conference finals will be held at the highest seed on Saturday, November 8. Start time is set for 1pm.
Women's Soccer
On Tuesday October 28, MSOE defeated Maranatha Baptist 2-1, clinching the sixth and last seed into the NAC playoffs. The Raiders (12-7, 7-5 NAC) travel to face the number three seed, Dominican University (River Forest, Ill.) (12-6-1, 10-2 NAC) on Sunday, November 2. Game time is slated for 1pm. Semifinals will be held at Aurora University or Edgewood (Madison, Wis.) on Wednesday, November 5. Game time is set for 1pm. The NAC championship will be held at the highest seed on Saturday, November 8. Start time is set for 1pm.
Women's Volleyball
In their last regular season match and in front of a senior night crowd at the Kern Center, the MSOE Raiders defeated the Concordia-Wisconsin Falcons 3-1 and clinched a playoff berth. The Raiders, the sixth seed, will face the Falcons, the third seed in the first round. This time, Concordia-Wisconsin will host the match in Mequon, Wisconsin on Monday, November 3. Game time is slated for 7pm. The semifinals will be held at the home of the highest seed on Thursday, November 6 at 7pm. The NAC championship will be held at the highest seed on Saturday, November 8. Start time is yet to be determined.
