Women's Basketball wins Pointer consolation game
Stevens Point--The MSOE women's basketball team picks up their second win of the season, by defeating the College of St.Scholastica 56-48 in the consolation game of the Pointers Tipoff Tournament. Leading the way for the Raiders was freshman center Carol Cayo and Kelly Costello both scoring 14 points in the MSOE win. Cayo added 8 rebounds and Costello 3 steals in the Raider victory.

MSOE won the rebound war, 34-to-23, while shooting 38% from the field to St. Scholastica's 22% for the game.

MSOE's Cayo was chosen to the All-Tournament Team. For the tournament, she scored 16 points and nabbed 14 rebounds.

The Raiders return to action on Tuesday, November 24, at Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, Illinois. Tipoff is set for 5:30p.m.
