Brandt receives AVCA weekly honor
 Chris Brandt, a 6-0 junior setter for the Milwaukee School of Engineering, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III Men's National Player of the Week.  Brandt's 12.15 assists per game last week helped MSOE to five wins in six tries on an East Coast road trip, including the first victory over a top-ten ranked opponent in school history. 

That win, coming against then-No. 6 Ramapo College, featured his best assist total for the week, 55, to go along with 10 digs.  He had one other double-double last week, against then-No. 7 Nazareth (43-10), and narrowly missed three others, against SUNY-IT (37-9), D'Youville (35-9) and Medaille (35-9).  To go along with his 12.15 assists, Brandt also averaged 2.45 digs and nearly one block per game. 

Brandt is the first-ever recipient of the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III Men's National Player of the Week award from MSOE.  The Raiders are coached by Brian Gibboney.
