Mens Volleyball defeats Quincy in Senior Day Surprise!

Behind senior Bryce Kinglsey's 16 kills and 4 service aces, the Raiders went on to defeat Division II Quincy in five sets. The Raiders won the match 3-2, by scores of 19-30, 30-27, 30-25, 24-30, and 15-10.
Senior Dan Goray also had a big day for the Raiders, scoring 14 kills and collecting four blocks for the match. Under classmen left their mark as sophomore middle hitter Chris Reininger hit .500 (10 kills, 1 error, 18 attempts), junior Glenn Frazee 13 kills and freshman Max Martin had 14 kills in the upset win.
Junior Jon Holzbauer had a busy day handling 25 digs, while setter Chris Brandt was skillful, dishing out 57 assists and adding 7 kills of his own to the team's 70 on the day.
The Raiders tie the school record for most wins in a season with nine as they head into the Midwest-III Volleyball Conference tournament, facing Fontbonne University on Saturday April 4 at 11am. The winner will face first seed Carthage at 2pm. Matches will be held at Tarble Arena on the Carthage College Campus in Kenosha, Wis.
