Maio Qualifies for NCAA Track and Field Championships

Whil running at the Gregory Invitational on May 15th, MSOE senior Dominic Maio qualified for the NCAA Track and Field Championships with a time of 3:52.08 in the 1500 meter run. This will be the second trip to an NCAA championship for Maio as he also ran at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in the fall of 2008.
A total of 688 participants will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event. The championships will be held May 21-23 at Marietta College.
