Women's Soccer Dominates Ripon in Season Opener
Milwaukee, Wis. -The MSOE women's soccer team began the season with a 6-0 drubbing of the Ripon Red Hawks Tuesday night at Uihlien Park. Ripon could not stop the MSOE Raiders from scoring as they divided the goals among six different players and outshot the Red Hawks 15-6 for the game. 


In the first half, MSOE scored three goals on shots from Jamie Janczak, Coleen Krechel, and Jessica Axt. In the second half, the Raiders continued their assault on the Ripon net with goals from Melanie Monreal, Heidi Brehmer and Mindy Donald.

In the net for MSOE, Erin Vanlangenburg played the first 45 minutes, collecting one save, while Emma Lumpe played the second half stopping two shots and preserving the MSOE shutout.

MSOE Leaves for Texas on Wednesday, September 2 for a game with Howard Payne and the University of Concordia-Austin over the weekend.
