Harris to be Inducted into Milwaukee Kickers Hall of Fame

MSOE Athletic Director Dan Harris will be inducted in the Milwaukee Kickers Hall of Fame, Saturday September 26, 2009 at Uihlein Soccer Park. The festivities begin at 5:00pm and include a dinner and awards ceremony. Harris was the first UWM Men's Varsity Soccer Coach in 1973 and Coach of the Kickers U-19 boys team in 1974. Harris has also served on the Milwaukee Kickers board as well as developed a plan for the first Kickers Select teams; He has also served as soccer coach for Grafton and Ozaukee youth teams from 1984-97.
He will be joined by another former UWM coach Laura Moynihan, who will be honored posthumously into the hall of fame. Other honorees include Pat Dillet, Martin Hintz, Pam Tripp and Mackie Westbrook.
This will be the sixth Hall of Fame induction for the MSOE Athletic Director. His previous inductions include UWM, Concordia-Wisconsin, Nathan Hale-Ray High School, the Wisconsin Soccer Association and as a charter member of the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association (March, 2009).
