Brehmer named to Cosida Academic All District Team

Heidi Brehmer (Chugiak, Alaska), a junior midfielder for the MSOE women's soccer team was selected to the Academic All America District V second team. The award, voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSida), honors Student-Athletes that are in at least their sophomore year and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
On the 2009 season, Brehmer has started in all 19 games, scoring eight goals and had seven assists for the Raiders. Brehmer and the Raiders continue in the Northern Athletics Conference Playoffs Saturday October 31 at Edgewood College. Game time is set for 12 noon.
