Men's Tennis takes NAC Championship, heads to NCAA Tournament

The MSOE Men's Tennis team is headed to the NCAA Tournament after winning the NAC Championship on Sunday at the Moorland Park Tennis Center in New Berlin, Wis. The Raiders won four titles en route to gathering 54 points at the two-day event.
Junior Mark Schadler won the number five singles championship with by the score of 6-0, 6-2 in the last match. Senior Fabian Griebel took home the number six singles title. Griebel won the final match 6-2, 6-1. Junior Dustin Holzhauer and freshman Zach Weaver combined to take the crown at number one doubles. They won the championship match 8-5. Senior Andrew Ohland and Schadler won the number three doubles championship by the same score in their last match.
Holzhauer finished second at number one singles and Weaver came in second at number three singles while Ohland was also second at number four singles. Sophomore Juan Montenegro was third at number two singles. Montenegro and junior Grant Lees were third in number two doubles action. The NCAA Tournament will begin Friday, May 14.
