Men's Basketball season recap

MSOE men's basketball junior forward Austin Meier was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-District Second Team for the Midwest Region. Meier was also named to ESPN the Magazine's Academic All-America First Team. Meier is a double major in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management and holds a 3.95 GPA.

In addition, the Oshkosh, Wisconsin native was selected to the First Team All-Northern Athletics Conference. Senior center Jeremy Off was named to the Second Team All-NAC. Both players were picked for those honors last season as well. Senior forward Luke Larson was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Meier was sixth in the NAC in scoring (16.4 per game), fourth in rebounding (8.6 per game), fifth in field goal percentage (58%), first in steals (2.3 per game), second in blocks (1.3 per game) and third in double-doubles (10). Off finished 12th in the conference in scoring (14.7 per game), fifth in rebounding (8.5 per game), fourth in field goal percentage (59%), fourth in blocks (1.0 per game) and second in double-doubles (11). Larson was third in the NAC in three-point field goal percentage (40%) and tenth in three-pointers made (46).

MSOE finished the season with a record of 17-10 overall and 10-6 in conference action and reached the semis of the NAC tournament.
