MSOE men's basketball wins fourth straight

Senior guard Bennett Deacon scored 21 points and senior forward Austin Meier recorded all 20 of his points in the second half as the Raiders defeated Lakeland 74-65 Saturday at the Kern Center for MSOE's fourth straight victory. Meier also grabbed all eight of his rebounds in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Deacon went 13-17 from the free-throw line while Meier was 7-8 from the charity stripe. Freshmen guards John Cording and Conor Cassidy each scored seven points. The Raiders shot 48% from the field for the game.
MSOE (14-5, 8-3 NAC) hosts Aurora in another important NAC Tuesday at the Kern Center.
