MSOE men's soccer falls to #2 Calvin 1-0

The MSOE men's soccer team started their 2010 season with a 1-0 loss against national runner-up Calvin in Grand Rapids, Mich Friday afternoon. Calvin is currently ranked second in the NSCAA Division III national poll. Raiders junior goalkeeper Jon Cerny made seven saves in the loss.
The lone goal of the game was scored by Zach Willis just before the 70th minute of the match. Senior Jimmy Burns, junior Dan Hosko and sophomore Jordan Werner each had two shots for MSOE.
The Raiders are back in action Saturday evening against Hope in Holland, Mich. That match will begin at 5 p.m.
