MSOE men's cross country places seventh at Falcon Invite, Zagare finishes 20th on women's side

The men's squad finished seventh at the Falcon Invite hosted by Concordia-Wisconsin Saturday morning in Mequon, Wis. MSOE's top finisher was freshman Trevor Koziczkowski who had a time of 28:05 for the 8K race. Sophmores Ben Peterson and Alex Schroeder finished 37th and 39th, respectively. Freshmen Steve Grousnick and Terrence Norris placed 41th and 43rd for the Raiders.
MSOE's women team finished tenth as sophomore Anete Zagare was 20th with a time of 26:01 for the 6K race. Sophomore Tanzania Sewell and Holly Phelps were 52nd and 53rd while senior Emily Schmeling was 57th and senior Erin Haefs was 58th.
The Raiders will compete in the Olde English Class Saturday, Sept. 25 in Beloit, Wis.
