MSOE women's soccer stays undefeated in NAC play with win over Alverno

Junior Jessica Axt scored twice and freshman Paula Bohl scored her 17th goal of the season which leads all NCAA Division III players to help the Raiders beat Alverno 4-0 Saturday morning at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee. Bohl also leads the country in points with 38. The Raiders have won five straight games and are 5-0 in NAC play.

Junior Mary Roath scored her sixth goal of the season. Roath's goal came off a corner kick from junior Jamie Janczak, her seventh assist on the year. Freshman Allison Zimont set up Axt's first goal of the game to log her ninth assist of the year which puts her among the nation's best for that category. Senior Allison Plank made the pass on Axt's second goal to record an assist.

Sophomore Emma Lumpe and senior Erin VandenLangenberg each played a half in net for MSOE. The Raiders (7-3, 5-0 NAC) face Marian in Fond du Lac, Wis. Wednesday at 7 p.m.
