MSOE men's soccer shuts out Maranatha Baptist 5-0

With goals from five different players, the Raiders knocked off Maranatha Baptist 5-0 Tuesday night at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee. Senior Jimmy Burns started the scoring with a goal just before the ten minute mark of the first half. The goal was assisted by senior Rafael Arndt who recorded the team's third goal which came in the second half. Arndt's goal was assisted by junior Paul Stimpson.

MSOE went up 2-0 when Burns set up sophomore Dominic Ridolfi who scored just after the 20 minute mark. The Raiders finished the game with two goals in the final two minutes of the game. Junior Dan Hosko and freshman Tyler Byars logged those two goals with freshman Noah Corbeil-Wild assisting Hosko's goal. Junior Jon Cerny made three saves to pick up the shut out.

The Raiders (3-6, 3-1 NAC) will play on the road against Beloit Friday at 4:30 p.m.
