MSOE rowing wins four races at the Tail of the Fox Regatta


The Raiders had a very solid Sunday at the Tail of the Fox Regatta in DePere, Wis. by winning four races. MSOE won the varsity open eight race with a time of 12:58.39. On that boat was coxswain Rachel Connon, stroke seat Zach Parsons, seven seat Ben Lang, six seat Luke Engebretson, five seat Dave Taylor, four seat Curt Albrecht, three seat Ed Adams, two seat Ryan Lowery and bow seat Mike Cerny.

MSOE also won the open four race with a time of 14:21.27. On that boat was coxswain Dan Cedeno, Taylor (stroke seat), three seat Steve Frick, two seat Devin Pettis and Albrecht (bow seat).

In the novice four race, the Raiders were first with a time of 14:56.28. For that event, MSOE had Cedeno, Engebretson (stroke seat), three seat Travis Biesiada, Albrecht and bow seat Brandan Fajardo.

In the lightweight four race, MSOE's two squads came in first and third. On the first place boat was Connon, Parsons, Ben Lang (three seat), Engebretson and Cerny. The third place boat included coxswain Zach Holyszko, stroke seat Bill Boelk, Adams, Lowery and Fajardo. 

MSOE will compete in the Head of the Rock Regatta Saturday in Rockford, Ill.
