Three second half goals put MSOE women's soccer past Lawrence

The Raiders scored three times in the second half Wednesday night as they knocked off Lawrence 3-1 in a non-conference match in Milwaukee. Senior Heidi Brehmer started the scoring at the 51:28 mark of the game with her 31st career goal which ties her for second with Vickie Georgakas on the all-time MSOE scoring list. The goal was assisted by junior Jessica Axt.
Freshman Allison Zimont put the Raiders up 2-0 with a goal assisted by freshman Paula Bohl five mintues later. After the Vikings pulled within one, Bohl scored her 22nd goal of the season with less than two minutes left in the game. Bohl entered the week seventh in the country in goals. Axt picked up her second assist on the night on Bohl's goal. Senior goalkeeper Erin VandenLangenberg logged a season-high 11 saves for MSOE (11-6-2, 8-2-2 NAC) who will begin the NAC Tournament Sunday.
