Krupa nets hat trick and Toomey shuts out Concordia-Wisconsin

Junior Todd Krupa recorded a hat trick and junior goaltender Connor Toomey shut out Concordia-Wisconsin as the MSOE hockey team beat the Falcons 6-0 Saturday night at the Kern Center. Freshman Mike Pao scored the first goal of the night just over a minute into the first period. The goal was assisted by freshman Michael Thompson and senior Michael Soik.

Krupa scored his first goal at the 5:32 mark of the first period. That goal was set up by Soik and senior Aaron Humprhies. Soik netted his second goal of the season just over six minutes in the second period. Krupa assisted on that goal and then scored again at the 9:06 mark of the 2nd period. Humphries and Pao got the assists on that power play goal.

Keizer had a hat trick Friday night and scored his fourth of the year at the 13:32 mark of the third period. Sophomore Bradley Tierney logged the assist on Keizer's short handed goal. Krupa finished his hat trick a few minutes later on a goal assisted by Soik and junior Ben Plocar. Toomey made 15 saves to record his fourth career shutout.
