MSOE hockey moves up to No. 13 in USCHO.com Division III poll

The Raiders were off this past week but they moved up to No. 13 in the United States Collegiate Hockey Online (USCHO.com) Division III Poll. MSOE is on a six-game win streak after sweeping Marian Nov. 13 and 14. The Raiders will face St. Mary's Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at Kern Center.
Last week's MCHA Player of the Week sophomore Jordan Keizer is currently second in all of Division III with eight goals and leads all MCHA players in points (11), goals (8) and power play goals (3). Keizer has already posted two hat tricks this season. Sophomore captain Bradley Tierney is tied for the MCHA lead in assists with seven.
Junior goaltender Connor Toomey has been named MCHA Defensive Player of the Week twice this year and is sixth in the nation with a 1.40 goals against average. As a team, MSOE is fourth in the country on the penalty kill allowing just one goal in 29 short-handed situations.
