8th ranked Raiders' 8-game winning streak snapped

MSOE hockey fell to St. Thomas 2-1 Friday night at the Kern Center as their eight-game winning streak to start the season came to an end. The No. 8 Raiders got their lone goal in the first period from sophomore captain Bradley Tierney assisted by freshman Mike Pao and junior Todd Krupa.
Rob Johnson scored twice for the Tommies, once in each of the first two periods. Junior goaltender Connor Toomey made 29 saves for MSOE. St. Thomas and the Raiders were both 0-4 on the power play.
MSOE (8-1) hosts St. Thomas again Saturday at 2 p.m.
