Dieringer leads MSOE women's track & field at UW-Whitewater

The Raiders took part in the UW-Whitewater Invitational Saturday and junior Emily Dieringer led the way again for MSOE. Dieringer was second in the 55-meter hurdles at 9.08 seconds and ran a time of 27.80 in the 200-meter dash to place fourth. Also, Dieringer was fourth in the pole vault at 2.90 meters. As a team, the Raiders placed tenth of 15 teams at the event.
Sophomore Katelyn Herrmann finished fifth in the 5000-meter run with a mark of 20:27.22. Sophomore Karly Nehls came in seventh in the triple jump at 10.01 meters while freshman Melody Scrivano was eighth in the shot put with a mark of 9.89 meters.
Next up for MSOE is the Tadd Metzger Invitational hosted by Carthage in Kenosha, Wis. this Friday.
