MSOE wrestling finishes up at Pete Willson Invitational

The Raiders competed in the second day of competition at the Pete Willson Invitational in Wheaton, Ill. Saturday. The event included many of the top teams and wrestlers from Division III. Sophomore Caleb Staub led MSOE with 5.5 points and recorded two falls at 184 pounds. As a team, MSOE placed 21st out of 32 teams. Sophomore Josh Wengerter (3-2) and senior Dominick Deligio (3-2) each had four points.
Junior Jake Narveson went 2-2 at the 141-pound weight class and senior Virgil Pope was 2-2 at 157 pounds. Sophomore Steve Nguyen picked up a couple of wins at 285.
