Junior goaltender Connor Toomey made 23 saves as the No. 12 Raiders beat Lawrence 2-0 Friday night in Appleton, Wis. For Toomey, it's his third shutout of the year and the sixth of his career. Junior forward Todd Krupa and sophomore forward Nick Gorup recorded MSOE's two goals on the night.
The scoring started when freshman forward Ben Lauder and sophomore forward Bradley Tierney set up Gorup at the 4:12 mark of the first period.
