MSOE wrestling beats Concordia-Wisconsin in dramatic fashion

The Northern Wresting Association dual between the Raiders and Concordia-Wisconsin came down to the final match Friday night and MSOE came out on top 22-21. Sophomore Caleb Staub won a major decision 9-0 against Shane Brandl at 184 pounds to secure the victory for the Raiders. MSOE is now 9-2 in duals this season.
At 141 pounds, junior Jake Narveson pinned Kurt Kemnitz to pick up a win. Sophomore Josh Wengerter won a decision against David Tuomi 4-3 at the 149-pound weight class. Senior David Swanson also won by decision against Jordan Semevolos 7-6 at 165 pounds.
The Raiders are back in action Saturday, Feb. 19 in the NWA Conference Tournament in Mequon, Wis.
