Cayo and Larson's big nights not enough for MSOE women's basketball against Rockford

Junior center Carol Cayo scored 21 points while freshman forward Shannon Larson put in 18 points but the Raiders fell to Rockford 77-61 Wednesday night on the road. Cayo also pulled down nine rebounds while blocking five shots and recording three steals.
MSOE could only pull within seven in the second half after trailing by 13 at halftime. Junior guard Kathleen Collingbourne and sophomore forward Heather Miller each had seven points while Miller dished out four assists. The Raiders (8-16, 5-12 NAC) face Marian in Fond du Lac, Wis. Saturday at 1 p.m. in the NAC Challenge.
