MSOE hockey at No. 14 in preseason national poll

The MSOE hockey team is ranked no. 14 in the preseason USCHO.com Division III national poll. The Raiders finished last season in the 14th spot as well.
Also, MSOE has been picked to finish second in the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association this season according to the preseason coaches poll. Adrian was selected as the favorite. The Bulldogs receieved 46 points including four first-place votes while the Raiders garnered 42 points and three first-place votes. Marian was just one point behind MSOE with 41 and received the other first-place vote.
MSOE was 21-6-1 overall last season with a 16-3-1 record in MCHA play. The Raiders begin this season with an MCHA match-up against Concordia-Wisconsin Friday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Mequon, Wis. at the Ozaukee Ice Center. The first home game of the year will take place the following night at 7:05 p.m. at the Kern Center against the Falcons.
