MSOE women's volleyball extends winning streak to five


The Raiders picked up victories over Marian and Ripon Saturday at the Kern Center to run their winning streak to five in a row. The win over the Sabres evened up MSOE's NAC record at 3-3. The Raiders took the match in four sets (26-24, 23-25, 25-17, 25-23). Three MSOE players were in double digits for kills led by sophomore Stephanie Hasler who had 12 and also had 12 digs for a double-double. Hasler had four blocks and three service aces as well. Junior Kayla Edler and freshman Diane Jorgenson each had ten kills while Edler had three aces.

Also against Marian, junior Kathleen Collingbourne recorded 23 digs which ties the season-high by a Raider. Collingbourne also had nine kills. Senior setter Hayley McEnerney logged a double-double with 34 assists and 13 digs while junior Kaylie Lenz had 12 digs. 

In the five-set match (15-25, 25-20, 23-25, 26-24, 15-13) victory against Ripon, Hasler matched her career-high which she set the night before against Lakeland with 24 kills to go along with 18 digs. Collingbourne had a double-double with 19 digs and 12 kills. McEnerney picked up her second double-double of the day with 45 assists and 21 digs, both season-highs for her. Lenz recorded 14 digs.

MSOE (9-13, 3-3 NAC) now faces Wisconsin Lutheran Friday at the Kern Center at 7 p.m for a NAC match.
