MSOE men's volleyball edges St. Xavier

The Raiders knocked off St. Xavier in five games (20-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-15, 19-17) at the Kern Center Tuesday night in Milwaukee. Junior Max Martin had a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs. Martin also had three service aces. Sophomore Alex Harbour recorded 13 kills with a .308 hitting percentage.
Sophomore Jack Geary logged ten blocks, nine kills and four digs. Freshman setter Matt Morrone had 42 assists. Sophomore libero John Cote ended up with ten digs while sophomore David Johnson recorded nine kills. MSOE trailed 17-16 in the fifth game but Martin recorded two of the last three points as the Raiders took that game 19-17.
MSOE (11-12, 6-2 M3VC) faces St. Xavier again Thursday. That match will take place in Chicago and starts at 7 p.m.
