Overview
Milwaukee School of Engineering always has been a leader in fluid power education and was the first in the nation to offer an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Fluid Power Engineering Technology. The MSOE Fluid Power Research Institute, a research and product evaluation facility, is housed on campus. Numerous seminars, courses, and programs on specific aspects of fluid power are held there throughout the year.
Today, nearly every mechanical system utilizes either pneumatic or hydraulic power. Applications of the principles of fluid power ensure that billions of dollars worth of equipment, machines, and appliances function effectively in industrial and manufacturing enterprises, national defense systems, building construction projects, transportation and agriculture, and even in homes and garages. Anyone concerned with the transmission and use of fluid power will need a thorough understanding of the principles involved in this equipment.
Benefits: You will learn...
A solid background in fluid power that is relevant to the current needs of industry.
