CompTIA Security+ Certification

Overview

The CompTIA Security+ vendor-neutral certification is the worldwide standard of competency for foundation-level security practitioner. Companies that have contributed to the development of the Security+ Certification include IBM, Microsoft, Verisign, and the FBI and US Secret Service. This lab-based course covers general security topics such as access control and virus attacks, basics of cryptography, communication security for remote access, e-mail, wireless networks, operational and organizational security, and infrastructure security.
