Softball raises money, awareness, through Strike out Cancer campaign
In the second annual “Strike Out Cancer” fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, the MSOE Raiders softball team raised $1,600 through player sponsorships, activities and donations from fans and friends of MSOE Softball through the month of April. A special thank you goes out to all who participated in this event. Softball finishes the 2012 campaign with a 6-30 record, 5-19 in NAC play. The Raiders were led by Julie Windish with a .391 batting average. On the mound, Jessica Iverson led the Raiders with four wins and a .413 Earned Run Average. The Raiders graduate Jessica Iverson and Elise Pinkerton from the 2012 squad.
