AI Week at MSOE shines spotlight on transformative technology
The inaugural AI Week at MSOE will take place April 22 to 26, 2025. With a theme of “AI: The Future is Now,” a series of AI-focused events throughout the week will highlight the many ways artificial intelligence is transforming a variety of industries. Attendees will enjoy poster presentations, keynote speakers from industry leaders like NVIDIA, GE HealthCare and MCW Froedtert, networking opportunities, and the Rosie Supercomputer Super Challenge. All events are free, and open to faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community members, and include food.
Highlights of the AI Week include:
- Innovative Teaching: Insights on Generative AI in Education – A discussion with MSOE’s Copilot 365 AI Community of Practice members in the Diercks Hall atrium.
- AI in Healthcare: Transforming Patient Care and Innovation – Keynote presentations and discussions on AI integration in healthcare systems at the MSOE Welcome Center, featuring speakers from GE HealthCare, Froedtert Hospital, MCW, NVIDIA and Congruence.
- Rosie Supercomputer Super Challenge – Student demonstrations and award presentations in the Diercks Hall atrium and NVIDIA Auditorium.
- AI at MSOE: Student Voices – Hear from MSOE students about their experiences with generative AI in the Diercks Hall atrium.
- Distinguished Lecturer: Dr. Jules White – A keynote on AI in education by Dr. White, Director of Future of Learning & Generative AI at Vanderbilt University, at the Direct Supply Innovation Technology Center.
