Money Monday Blog-April 23
Have you ever checked on line for scholarships? It can feel overwhelming and be difficult to know where to start sometimes. There are lots of national scholarship websites, so we recommend just picking one or two. You can see some here. In most cases you can create a free profile describing your academic qualifications, major, background, interests, activities, and personal qualifies. Be as specific as possible especially if you have a unique background or interest. You will receive emails if your profile matches in some way, then you need to apply for any scholarships you are interested in. It might save you some hassle if you set up a separate email address just for registering for scholarship searches because you will probably get quite a few emails. Remember: you should never have to pay any money to search for or apply for a scholarship!
