MSOE Music Programs present the Ensemble Showcase at the Marcus Center for Performing Arts’ Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall, 929 N. Water St. Admission is free for both concerts. The MPAC requires attendees show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or proof of negative test within 72 hours of events for all patrons age 12 and above attending indoor performances. Children under 12 are allowed into MPAC with an adult that meets vaccination or negative testing requirements. Masks are required of all patrons ages 3 and older.

The Symphony Orchestra and Concert Choir will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18. The 13-piece symphony will perform selections from “House of Cards” and “Downton Abbey,” among others. The 18 voices in the choir will perform Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” “Let the River Run,” and more.  

Saturday, Feb. 19 the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble showcase begins at 3 p.m. Twenty-one members of the band will bring songs such as “Manhattan Adventure” and “With Honor and Valor” to the stage. The 20-piece Jazz Ensemble will perform favorites including “Freddie the Freeloader” and “I’m Still Standing.”
