Physics and Chemistry Department
Our department is a hub for the development and application of novel molecular and nano-engineering tools, including regulatory pathways and new materials and approaches that are the focus of research in industry, academia and medicine.
The Physics and Chemistry Department offers an undergraduate degree in the dynamic field of chemical and biomolecular engineering. It also offers minors in physics and chemistry and the other basic science courses required by numerous programs at MSOE. With a full range of up-to-date experimental facilities and faculty who challenge the curiosity and intellect of students, we aim to provide a well-rounded education in general and applied physics; general, organic and biochemistry; materials science; and optics and photonics.
