Learn more about Nursing
Since 1995, the MSOE School of Nursing (SON) has been educating students who have the caring attitude and skills that make excellent nurses. The MSOE curriculum integrates a strong technology base that makes you a better caregiver. The technology used in the classroom and laboratories, such as responsive manikins, also helps to prepare you for working with patients.
MSOE nursing students learn how to combine compassionate care with life-saving technology. With hands-on laboratories, a host of high-tech manikins that simulate medical scenarios, and expert faculty, we make sure that your training fully prepares you for the rigors of a nursing career.
MSOE’s Ruehlow Nursing Complex
Construction of an expansion is now complete on the $3 million, 25,000 square-feet Ruehlow Nursing Complex, home to the School of Nursing. The facility, which houses nursing classrooms, labs and faculty offices is located on the first floor of the Campus Center. Your desire to help others will be energized by intensive training in our sophisticated new labs, enabling you to integrate the use of technology with caring. The complex is nearly quadruple the size of the previous nursing labs, and allows faculty to enhance the already innovative education experience that is the hallmark of an MSOE education.
