AI Governance Structure

Leaders in AI Initiatives

MSOE is comprised of dedicated faculty and staff working to continue to propel the university forward as a leader in AI education. Established committees and working groups are at the helm of AI initiatives to ensure AI is interwoven into curriculum across programs.

Director of Applied AI Education

Dr. Olga Imas is the director of applied AI education at MSOE. In this leadership role, Imas is responsible for guiding the integration of applied AI across academic functions at the university, as well as leading the campus-wide AI Steering Committee.

AI Steering Committee

The AI Steering Committee is responsible for the implementation of the rAIder Initiative and overseeing the responsible use of applied AI on campus. Team members include:
